EOI – Secondary School Coaches

THE FSSAA “LEAD” Integrative Coaching Certificate is scheduled for September 2nd – 4th at Nabua Secondary School Vocational Building.

This is an Empowerment program to assist High School students accomplish better outcomes in Sports. In this instance, FSSAA intends to equip teachers that handle students in schools Fiji wide.

FSSAA is embarking on an Integrative Coaching Certificate with the “REVERSE ENGINEERING METHOD” to upskill High School student athlete handlers with the Coaching Craft and Acute Periodization Planning deeply versed in Analytical projection.

The Workshop Consists of the following:

  • Dates: September 2nd-4th
  • Location: Nabua Secondary School, Y13A Classroom,  Building
  • Fees: $30/head to be organized by your VPs and Zone Delegates

As coaches go through the sophistication of the Science of Sports and Exercise at each level from Kids Athletics to Advanced level, our understanding of the fundamentals will continue to grow over the length of the journey for coaches and athletes alike.

CONTENT

  1. Day 1:                    The Coaching Craft   and Reverse Engineering
  2. Day 2:                    Periodization – the Analytical Approach
  3. Day 3:                    The Collaborative Performance Journal

ASSESSMENT

The Workshop certification is practical based with 12 Worksheets Activity Collaborative Journal Write Up.

The Worksheets are attached, kindly go over the worksheets and should you feel confident to attempt the Worksheet, it will assist you greatly in completing the requirements and also serve as a base to develop collaboration with other participants.

CERTIFICATION

Certificates will be issued at the completion of the 12 Worksheets and the Collaborative Journal at the prerogative of Athletics Fiji through FSSAA. The Collaborative Journal will sustain throughout the phases from Off-Season to Pre-season to Competition. Participants are expected to engage in collaboration with the group at large and have evidence on record for full competence to be issued. The interactive nature of this program ensures that each participants gain the competence at the three intervals of Foundation Phase, Specific Phase, and Competition Phase. Workgroups will be formed at these intervals to assist coaches explore the forces that shape our history and performances.
